A security deposit of EUR 100 is required upon arrival for incidentals. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation.

Set in a secluded forest area in the Ardennes, Gite La Mention Franche provides views of peaceful natural surroundings that will allow you to clear your mind. Offering a broad variety of outdoor activities, this traditional stone-built house is the ideal base for a well-deserved escape to the countryside. When you enter the 3-storey house, a wooden staircase will lead you to the first floor, which is reserved entirely for your private stay. You can lose yourself in a good book or watch TV in the cosy living room, which comes with a dining table and a comfy white sofa that converts into a bed. Here, you will also find a range of brochures with information on hiking routes and (cultural) highlights in the region. Kitchenware, a stove, a dishwasher and a microwave are supplied in the open-plan kitchen, for your convenience. A children’s high chair can be provided as well, so the whole family can have a stress-free homemade meal. Younger guests can discover several fluffy stuffed animals to play with throughout the house. Vibrant colours such as bright orange, blue and purple are featured in the La Mention Franche’s bedrooms and bathroom. One of the bedrooms is fitted with a large double bed, while the second room comprises 2 single beds and a practical sofa bed, as well as a TV with a DVD player. Before going to bed, you can take a long bath to unwind. If you prefer to stay at the vacation house, you can sit out on the terrace while enjoying a tasty barbecue. The fenced garden also has a children’s slide. If you want to explore the surroundings, you can easily reach Malmedy, the renowned Spa, Bütgenbach or Francorchamps. La Mention Franche’s house is just a 2-minute drive away from the nearest E42 Motorway exit.
