  The apartment was really lovely, decorated to a high standard and fitted with modern appliances. The air con was great, so much better than other places we have stayed, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The location is ideally situated with lots to see in close proximity. We were only there for the weekend and had a car and were able to get... what people say » around a lot of the sights, but all felt we could have stayed for a few more days and still not had enough time. Definitely worth another visit. - Excellent (and very new) accommodation, quiet despite central location, easy parking, supermarket very close. Well located for Langemark, Ypres, First World War battlefields.

  Fantastic breakfast. In fact so much & so much choice there that we hardly wanted to eat for the rest of the day. Landlady very helpful. The 1st night we arrived fairly late & being a Monday most restaurants were closed so she drove in front to guide us to one that was open several miles away. How more helpful could she have been?   Katja, the owner, was extremely welcoming and friendly. She offered us a cup of tea as soon as we arrived! The family room was large, spacious and comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. We loved the peaceful rural location, but enjoyed being so close to Ypres and the WW1 sites. The breakfast was magnificent - and our teenage childre... what people say » n were most impressed to find apple flan and bars of chocolate on the menu alongside the healthier options! - Katya was an excellent hostess and went out of her way to be friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious, warm and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and had some lovely special touches. We would highly recommend a stay here if you were visiting Ypres or the surrounding area.
