We stayed there for two nights.The location was perfect!Its on a quiet street just a 2 min walk from the city centre.Marc (the owner )was very friendly and he made the best breakfast(yogurt,cheese,various types of bread,eggs etc) which was served till 10.30 for the late sleepers.We stayed in the room with the Moroccan bathroom which was absolutely what we wanted.The private wc is just at your door and the actual bath is very spacious!

It is really close of all that you want to see. From B&B Alphabed you can walk 10 minutes and get restaurants, bars and the important places.
Mark gives you a really good breakfast and you will feel like home.
The place is to get relaxed and stay a little bit more.
This B&B was a nice departure from the hotel experience. Clean, very quiet, and walking distance to the main square, it was perfect for us and would recommend for anone looking to get away for a nice weekend.
Alphabed location was perfect,within walking distance of the station and city centre.Very peaceful at night and by day.The host Marc was always very helpful for what we needed.

Good location. Only 5 min walk to historical center and B &B on quiet side street. Very good breakfast fresh breakfast. A variety of cheese, egg, fresh breads and fruit. Marc the owner is a friendly guy who answered all our questions.
The place does not have many cons. It is just you need to be aware except for breakfast you there is no staff. We arrived 40 min to check in. There is a number on the door (you must have cell phone). You call Marc and he tells you the security code to enter. .

The trash wasn't picked up. Breakfast was tasty but not to rich.
Ghent station was a tram ride away from the heart of the city.
The owner should place a board with the Hotel's name at the entrance
door ( it just says B&B on a tiny plate). Park your car at 5 min
walk in garge p2 -Reep @ 10€ per day.

Breakfast started rather late....
Nothing.
Rooms could use some redecorating. The old wall paper makes the place look run down. But it was one of the cheapest B&B's we found. It included the breakfast. Comparing it to others it was definitely cheaper.
B&B was difficult to find on the street because number of door wasn't visible. Nobody was on the recepcion when we arrived.
I booked incl. breakfast and we agreed this a day before! Unfortunately in the morning nobody was around to prepare the breakfast. Also I received no invoice !.
