The hotel staff very helpful and attentive, very nice location, quiet, free parking, nice breakfast, very comfortable place.Comfort, convenient situation, firendly atmosphere, good food and convenient free parking. hotel staff friendly and informative, hotel location excellent for walking around brugge. The pleasant and very helpful staff, comfortable clean room, location, breakfasts,. very nice hotel in a walking proximity to the city centre, friendly staff. The staff was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful staff and excellent environment made our stay a memorable one - wish we could have stayed longer. It is very cozy so you feel at home.. Breakfast is also amazing, and it is quite close to where all the action is. One more thing, we were late, and it was after check-in hours, so the hotel staff left us our access numbers outside so that we do not have any problem, and inside they left us the room keys, so that we can check-in on our own.. liked that very much. The place is nice, near to the down town. Spacious, clean, very friendly staff. Breakfast and parking. Hotel staff very friendly, they help me out changing my car parking place so I wouldn't get a ticket. Excelent breakfast. A pleasant hotel quite close to the centre of Bruges (walking distance). The room was clean, bathroom and shower excellent and room grand and big for our family + dog. If I were in Bruges again I would have no problem staying here.Very pleasant staff, went out of their way to be of assistance, good breakfast, nice clean room. Spacious bathroom and nice rooms. Easy access to city center and free parking.Very clean room with satellite TV. Friendly and helpful staff. Staff extremely friendly and caring! Excellent breakfast.Location is perfect to explore Brugge. peaceful but close to centre. Location and price were good. But you need GPS in Brugge since most streets are one-way only. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was excellent with a very good variety of foods. The staff was refilling all the time. Helpful staff, good location, facilities as expected and very satisfactory. Good value hotel. It was a good base for getting to Bruges centre and was nice and quiete. Quiet location and friendly staff. Staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast and nice bathroom. Good staff - good room. Superb location close to the centre but in a quiet street. Excellent, informative and helpful staff. Easy to find if you can read a map.The breakfast was great, and the close proximaty (walking distance) to all major sights made the Hotel Jacobs a great place to stay!. location, friendly personal. Rooms very clean and smart. Character and location. Location and staff. the staff was very kind and eager to be helpful. it felt like they genuinely wanted you to have a memorable stay in their city.Receptions are very professional and supportive. Close to the main area. The breakfast buffet and friendliness of the staff. quiet zone, the center is at 10 min walking. buffet breakfast. Not a complaint just a suggestion that tea and coffee facilities be available in the rooms. Noisy guests should be thrown out.Hard to find; also they did not send a confirmation, so I called toconfirm directly (as opposed to the confirmation from the booking agent). Finding the place without a GPS could be a bit of a problem.breakfast was just ok. Single room was very small and had the worst sink ever. It was so small that it was a challange to brush your teeth. The size of our double room, also there was alot of room noises during the night. They charged me 20% extra tax above the 'all inclusive' rate you quoted!!. noisy of the rooms, thin wall. The room was very small but we knew that when we booked. The only downside to this hotel was the very small basin in the bathroom which was barely large enough to put my hands in and the the shelf immediately above it which meant you had to be a bit of a contortionist to wash your face, clean your teeth or to shave. Please put a kettle in the room!. Breakfast staff allowed boiled eggs and milk to run out completely and did not replenish with 45 minutes serving time left. Shower had no fixing on the wall to allow normal operation (newly refurbished). Baythroom tiny. the room is very poorly laid out. you could not properly wash your face in the sink without having to wedge your head underneath a shelf. we wound up washing our faces and brushing our teeth with the shower head. if you wanted to watch a little tv you had to lay on the very edge of the bed because there was a large chandelier hanging directly in the way.I know the room was described as a "small double" but I certainly wouldnot have liked to stay in the room with a partner - it was tiny!. in little room the lavabo is too small, only for washing hands. the bathroom.

Hotel information details
The owners and the staff are pleased to welcome you to Hotel Jacobs. From 8:00 until 23:00, the hotel staff are delighted to offer information regarding restaurants and places of interest. As real Bruges residents, the hotel staff will be proud to guide you in one of the most romantic and best preserved cities in Europe.
Important information to guests
Please note that in Bruges city centre parking is paid between 09:00 till 20:00. There are also various underground car parks available against a smaller fee.
Located next to the Bruges Railway station, the largest car park is situated and costs EUR 3.50 per day, including a 4 person bus transfer to a park and ride area right outside the city centre.
Information about the area
The hotel is situated in the Saint-Gillis neighbourhood, which is a typical and quiet neighbourhood in the city centre. Here, you will discover the Lace centre, the Folklore Museum, the Saint-Gillischurch, the Saint-Annachurch and the Lange Rei, which is one of the many canals in Bruges. Also you are close to the Ring Road of Bruges, which gives you an easy access to the little country village of Damme.
Because of its canals, it is not uncommon to hear Bruges described as the 'Venice of the North'. This is an unnecessary comparison, because Bruges stands on its own as a uniquely well-preserved city, ranging from medieval to modern times. Bruges throws your sense of time out of joint, sweeping you back through the centuries. It is also an almost stagily pretty city, and if there is one criticism visitors have, it is that is seems almost too perfect.
Room information details
The hotel has 23 rooms in total. In addition to all the listed facilities, all rooms have en suite bathroom with bath or shower. All 1st, 2nd and 3rd floor rooms are easily accessible by the lift. As the hotel is situated in a very quiet neighbourhood of the city, all rooms are quiet. We have double, triple and quadruple rooms available. All the rooms in the hotel are non-smoking. Hair dryer on request available.
