The concept behind Number 22 is unique. We had three rooms being part of a wedding party, and each room was original in it's own way. The best part is that binding the three rooms was a lovely little room terrace that bound us all together. For the rest the rooms are fully self supporting (with all the kitchen appliances you need) and tastefully decorated! It was a memorable stay and hopefully we'll do so again some time in the future!.
all reviews » It's well designed apartment, with AC which i liked so much cuz the weather was really hot. The apartment is comfy and beautiful,perfect for couple. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The area is quite and away from the center noises, so you could enjoy ur sleep. Near the place there are lovely bars and cafe 3min walk. This property is a work in progress. The owner is very friendly but the doorbell is not working at this moment so you'll have to call him. It's a spacious apartment at just a few minutes walk from the old-centre of Antwerp at a great price! We'd love to come back sometime when the place is finished... On a hot summer's night the sleeping area in the upper most room can become quite hot despite the fan. Property is a work in progress, electricity failed for about half an hour, we were told it happens quite often lately (owner is working on it right now). It's quite a climb on a narrow staircase, we were fine but for the elderly this might be an issue. The apartment is recently renovated but some details are still missing. Rien ... The building is a work in progress so I would expect to see lights in the stairwell in the future,. Can be tricky to park as is so close to trendy bars, but if you park on Amerikalei then you should be fine. Stairs to apartment are steep and narrow but this is an old building! A microwave oven in the kitchen would be useful. Some unfinished aspects, no real shower. A little hot as I was in the roof space and as it was so new (I was the first guest) the air con was not yet connected, but I'm sure it has been resolved by now as the owner / designer - Frédéric is very decent landlord. Parking can be a bit of a hassle depending on the time you get in (Street parking). It's a tiny bit far from the centre, but very much walkable. Nope, can't think of anything. Maybe decor was a little dark. would be nice to find tea and coffee in the kitchen. It was on the top floor/foor space of a 4 storey building and accessed by very steep narrow stairs.
