Hotel feels like time stopped for Hemingway to take breakfast here; atmospheric art nouveau lounge, light bursting through the beautiful stained glass windows... Authentic decor, courteous staff, clean rooms and excellent location for trams/buses to all parts of city. I used the hotel as a base for a music gig at Zappa and for dining near Vlaamsekaai (I recommend El Puerto for tasty tapas and sangria!). The hotel was beautiful with it's original decoration which has not been restored. The staff were very helpful and pleased to see their customers. The breakfast provided everything you could want for the price. The rooms were very clean with fantastic shower.
I enjoy very much my stay at Rubenshof, the staff are very friendly, rooms are clean and quite, breakfast is healthy. It provides pleasant simple comfort and good value for money. I would definitely like to stay again, and I recommend warmly to you all:).

Close to the Mukha, to the Museum of Photography and to the water. Much nicer than to be in the center- although it is at a very short distance by tram.
