A very good hotel with a staff that provides friendly service with a smile. Excellent dining experience. Quiet location away from the noise in town. Beautiful mountain experience in all directions-a real delightful location. The staff was very friendly. Wi Fi was available with better signal than most hotels we stayed at during our 10 day trip. Breakfast buffet was included. The cappuccino panna cotta we had for dessert was fantastic.
all reviews » Old fashioned Austrian hotel which appealed to us but not everyone. Quiet position. Large double aspect room. Enjoyed excellent dinner and breakfast for our 1 day here. We extended our stay to include Dinner and it is the best value for money 5 course dinner, every night, that I have eaton. Quality Excellent. breakfast buffet is superb design from outside AND inside is very classic and elegant; it's wonderful. staff is cooperative & kind. - Perfect location, close to the city center - Good food - Nice and friendly stuff - Free parking - Nice sauna facilities. -location is very nice as close to railway station -staff was helpful in giving options for sightseeing and traveling. The hotel is located in a residential area, up very narrow street. The "private parking" consists of only 4 spaces. The breakfast buffet was limited. Had to eat dinner at the hotel restaurant since there were not any others relatively close to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel consisted of a pre-determined menu, so no al a carte items were available. 300 metres from town up gradual tarmac road. Room could have done with new curtains otherwise OK. safety deposit box is locked by key; not secret number hotel is superb; however; city is a common attraction to arabs; whom (as i am an arab) ruin every city they go to. it felt like staff is a little unprofessional. - One side of the hotel oversees a small river which is very noisy if windows open. Clsoign windows was not an option since there are no other ventilation in the room. - Poor wi-fi reception in the room. - Dark hair in the bathroom which most likley belongs to the cleaning stuff. -rooms could have a better view -staff could have been more friendly and courteous while serving meals. Would have liked a comfortable chair in bedroom. No AC, NO Min bar, No Tuises, No Freidge, No Fan, No Window cover for Insect. Overall this is not a 4 star hotel. Dark, gloomy and tired best describes it with the hotel reception staff not friendly. Our room had very tatty furniture with broken light shades. A broken hairdrier glowing red had been left in the bathroom. Overall for the money very poor. We visit zell am see 3/4 times per year and have always stayed in hotels so know what a 4 star hotel should be like. the room was in a terrible condition small, from 40 years ago the bed broke in the middle of the night and we had to carry our things alone. the bath was so small for children. the swimming pool was so old some of the tiles fell .it was un pleasent to stay there . its not 4 stars hotel mabe 1or 2 there is no connections between the picture in the web sight and reallity.
