This place is in an excellent location, not far from Kitzsteinhorn for skiing (about 15 mins). The manager is very accommodating and allowed us to have two dogs and gave us free Wi-Fi for all our devices. She also gave me a discount pass for the Spas in Zell Am See. This place was overall really fantastic. Very quiet, very beautiful view from the window in the Studio apartment, much bigger than a typical hotel room. It's also FREE parking! We will stay here again, despite our one negative.
all reviews » Wonderful and welcoming staff! The owner is extremely friendly and accomodating, and speaks great english. We stayed in an apartment with a balcony, with a view onto the Kitzsteinhorn and the glacier. The bus stop to go to the mountain is located just a few meters outside the apartment. The lake is about 8 min walk away. Staff was very friendly! Although styling of the room was quite dated, it was very comfortable Bonus: Room had a mini kitchen Price was very good, especially for what was provided. Maria who is the owner was so friendly and helpful, room has all what you need. Location is only 3 min drive to the lake. -the owner very friendly , -the big apartment has very big space , -HD tv with satellite channel -high speed WIFI. Central location to Zell am See city Large, spacious fully equipped room. The owner was friendly and the apartment was spacious enough. reasonably priced. We didn't care for the bed. It was very hard and hurt our backs/hips. We're American so we were used to the more padded american style beds. So this is not necessary a bad thing if you like the European bed styles. Also, there are no black-out blinds. Its not a bad thing, we closed the light curtains but we're used to having total darkness to sleep. The bathrooms were small but it is a studio apartment so it was fine for us. We would stay again, despite the negatives. Pillows for bed were more like small blankets (not very supportive at all). bathroom has unpleasant smell,,shower is so small and the water doen't go down easily. bed is also less than average and no elevatotor to move your loggage up. It is far from town. Also, the owner does not speak English, which made things a little difficult. The room smelled like smoke as well. no "house rules" for other guests. In other words, we, as paying guests at the apartments were at the mercy of the other guests with kids running around all hours.....and we never saw the owners ONCE. never did they check if all was ok. It was a bit like staying in student accommodation.
