Very convenient to sites and restaurants. Owner/manager was very helpful, congenial and hospitable. Studio was roomy with modern bathroom and the kitchen was an additional benefit. I would highly recommend Villa Kumpf. Internet connection was also great. Loved having our own little apartment, was very easy to relax in, location was superb so close to the centre of Vienna, and yet so quite on its little lane.all reviews »

Its not a 'Villa' as the name suggests.Its an apartment.The rooms did not look exactly like in the pictures.The WiFi did not work at all and the owners dint do much inspite of our repeated complaints.WiFi was one of our main reasons for choosing this hotel.The security locker in our room did not have instructions in English and the staff couldn't get us the English version.

By plane:
From Vienna International Airport take the City Airport Train (CAT) to Wien-Mitte, then take the U3 underground line (orange, westbound towards Ottakring, 2 stops) and get off at Stephansplatz station.
By train:
- From Südbahnhof (Southern Train Station) take the tram lines O or 18 or bus line 69A one station to Südtiroler Platz, then take the U1 underground line (red, northbound towards Leopoldau, 3 stops) and get off at Stephansplatz station.
- From Westbahnhof (Western Train Station) take the U3 underground line (orange, eastbound towards Simmering, 5 stops) and get off at Stephansplatz station.
At Stephansplatz station (U1/U3) take the exit "Kärntner Straße" and walk down Singerstraße (Humanic shoe shop) for 4 blocks, then turn left.
