Everything was to my liking, even the transparent shower, which I know some people find a bit odd but you are forewarned if you do your research. Loved the location which was within walking distance of a great many must see places and shopping opportunities if that's your thing. Very close to public transport too. Wait staff in the Brasserie were very keen to meet all needs if possible. Was very pleased with my choice of hotel in Vienna.
all reviews » The hotel was well located. It was easy to walk to the main attractions or to access the underground. The coffee machine in the deluxe room was wonderful anf worth spending that little bit extra. My flight only departed at 7:45pm and I was happy to be able to use their wellness facilities to shower and freshen-up and get into a clean set of clothing before boarding an intercontinental flight!. Location is just great. You've got a park, subway in 1 min, groceries across the street, and a safe quiet neighborhood. Breakfasts are served with omelets/eggs prepared specially for you hot and customized) and a nice buffet selection. Clean rooms. Hotel to airport service is 40 eur, which is a good price for a taxi. Isolated toilet room. The breakfast was great, big variety. The room is spacious and comfortable. All of the facilities are brand new and the room as well as the hotel are very clean. The location is fantastic, right next to the Rathous station. The staff is nice and will provide all the services one could possible need during the trip. So there is no privacy and the hotel could suit only couples (that are ok with this). internet was rather slow; pillows too soft; no english channels on TV which is not acceptable for a 4/5 star hotel. There is carpet on the room, I thought that there was a lot of dust on the room. On the breakfast there was some small flies flying on the food, maybe should cover the food to avoid the direct contact..... Would have liked towels to be changed after 2 days Did not feel comfortable in the bar on Saturday night as somebody was playing computer game very loudly, so had to move into restaurant area. Hotel was a bit far for people walking into city i had to use the underground and that was ok.would like to visit again. Don't share room with anyone that you don't want to see you showering. No privacy shower. Nothing!. Staff were very strict on check out time even though the room was not ready on when we arrived. . Our friends had a cofee-machine in the room but we didn`t. Disgusting wi-fi. Had to log in again and again every 10-15 minutes with a long terrible login and password. To mention any detail the horrible wifi connection....it dissapears each 10 minutes. Poor sound isolation; I.E. woke up due to people speaking (not shouting) in the next room. Also could easily understand people discussing on the corridor. Nothing specific comes to mind except for the glass shower right in front. no parking place, but this is a case in almost all hotels situtated in the centre of Vienna. Internet connection is VERY poor Not exacly a 5star. Internet is very choppy and not reliable. No coffee makers in the room and water was not re-placed after the first day. Bad service during the breakfast. It took a lot of time to be served. I guess l more more people should be involved in order to solve this issue. minibar could be more interesting including some chips, peanuts or something. All supermarkets were closed in this area (+- 1 km) on Sunday (and Saturday evening), but this is not a problem of hotel. I liked the glass shower in the room however it may not be suitable for visitors that like their privacy in the bathroom. Location is not the best.15-20 mins walk to the touristy spots and shopping area. The shower being directly in the room. parking slightly away from the hotel. Housekeeping waking us up early in the morning and knocking on your door every 30 mins. On arrival, we accepted a 20 Euro a day upgrade for a de luxe room. The mini-bar didn't work and was not fixed during our four night stay - the offer of drinks brought from the bar on request was an unsatisfactory solution. We did not feel that the upgrade was good value under the circumstances. The front desk provided me with the wrong information. I didn't like one of the white receptionists there. the shower is in the same room without curtains. some staff unfriendly (in particular room service). Disturbing house keeping, came at 5pm and if they were asked to come later you should see that face! So, she start cleaning while my partner was just in towel and refused to not clean. I told her twice we do not need cleaning if she can't came later, but she does not understand english nor german.
