This is a charming place to stay when visiting Vienna. It is located near to the underground (Rochusgasse) and near to center of town (2 stops). The room I had (nr 14) was spacious with terrace , sofas, a separate dressing, bathroom and separate WC. There was no noice at night as the room was in the back of the building. The personnel is most helpful and the breakfast buffet is lavish. Internet is for free. I certainly will return her on my next trip to Vienna as it had all the qualities you ap.
all reviews » Although I hoped it would be a good place, I never expected it would be so good. The location is perfect: in the very center of the city, but in a unbelievably quite street, so nothing will disturb your sleep. My room was very clean and spacious room with everything important at hand. Breakfast was very nice, accompnied by Strauss recording, with a pleasntly moderate choice of food, not too much and everything was very fresh. I liked it a lot and would recommend tha place to everybody. I have looked through a numerous amount of different hotel offers and considered this one to be the best. Peaceful atmosphere, lovely and spacious rooms (we had one with a real fireplace), excellent staff, delicious breakfast. All things considered - this place is a great value for money. Ideally located really close to the underground station and only 3 stops from the main square. The area is quiet but just round the corner there is everything you may need when travel. The location slightly away from the city was nice - quiet. The rooms were really nice, with balcony, fireplace The staff was extremely helpful - everything from making concert reservations to helping me figure out train schedules, and even bringing up an electric tea kettle with lots of tea bags when we were cold so that we could make our own tea. Pretty much anything we needed, the staff helped us with!. The luxurious rooms, the huge bathtub, the toiletries, the wonderful advice of Frau Spiese, the location on a residential cul de sac just steps from the metro and one short block from the haupstrasse where there are numerous restaurants, snack bars, wine bars and all kinds of retail. Also, the breakfast selection was phenomenal -- cheeses, meats, pastries, yoghurt. Staff is very attentive and prepared to help you with anything you need. Very quiet and clean. Excellent breakfast. Perfect location - cvery close to the metro stop and 15 mi utes walking distance from the city center. We had a very big and cozy room, with a chimney and a dinning corner. Since I discovered it late at night when the reception was already closed, it was quite a stress. But a staff member was easily accessable by phone, and my problem was resolved very quickly. Can't think of anything, we had a great stay. Absolutely nothing!. This was literally a last minute boooking so we got a big discount. We still wonder if this hotel is worth its price. A lot of things in the room did not work or were missing. There were also some uncleaned spots in the room. We have the impression that the maintenance could get more attention and the personnel could be more alert and proactive. Some of the fittings like curtains were looking very tired, and I think our second bathroom got missed on the cleaning rounds. I have no complaints. I was very pleased with the accommodations and staff. Wifi service could be better. Nothing. Nothing. nothing. Nothing.
