  Arriving at the Berwald I was met by the charming and welcoming hostess Katharina. I had a choice of two rooms which were both very comfortable. The house commands spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and the tinkling of the cowbells on the mountains added to its charm. Katharina was very friendly and spoke fluent english. She interact... what people say » ed with her guests well to ensure they were happy. - Perfect!. Haus Bergwald is simply the perfect hotel in a most beautiful location. Our room was extremely clean, comfortable, well furnished and with mindblowing views of the Alpbach area. Breakfast was excellent. Katharina and her family willingly attend to your every wish to ensure your stay is memorable for all the right reasons. We didn't want to leave, but we shall be back next summer.

  The rooms are very neat and the location is very beautiful. There are a lot of things to do in the area. The food was excellent in the morning and the food was even better in the evening. Also the staff is very friendly and we had a very lovely stay at this beautiful hotel. I would recommend everyone to come here.

  Attending Euro 2008 and nothing reasonable available in Innsbruck area. Chose hotel as it was the closest with reasonable rate. Turned out to be excellent stay in an alpine ski area setting with spectacular views. 10 minutes down mountain to train into Innsbruck (20 min. trip).
