  We booked the suite, which is a separate apartment a few blocks away. While an odd layout it's like having your own apartment. You do have to walk a few blocks, not far, to the main hotel. Quiet. Basically a new hotel as was built in 2011 or so. - We received a friendly welcome from Gisela and Anton. Our room was pleasantly furnished in modern style. We enjoyed coffee and a beer on the large patio, whilst chatting with our host and admiring the beautiful marillen blossoms nearby. Excellent breakfast. Gisela and Anton recommended very good restaurants for our evening meals; we decided to extend our stay and enjoy a further night with them.

Very spacious and very comfortable!   very pleasant staff, beautiful hotel, lovely spacious room - It probably is one of the best hotels whithin the Wachau region, very well located, opposite the Danube river. The bedroom was spacious and furnished tastefully, including a bathroom and separate toilets. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was very helpful and kind.

The owner spoke English, made us very welcome & gave us good instructions & information. We were given a complimentary bottle of local wine with a welcome note. Spacious apartment was well equipped & nicely decorated. In the heat of summer the rooms remained cool & A.C. was not required. Well positioned for visiting the Wachau valley sites. Free WiFi was available in the main house.
