  This is a family run business. The rooms are incredible value. I think we were upgraded to a suite. Immaculate rooms. Very good value. Bavarian motif, very good atmosphere & the food was good in the restaurant. - Very nice hotel and a great location near the cable car and bus stop. Walk over to the information center and get a Salzburg card.

  We had a very nice stay at Pension Bergfried and we recommend it to everyone! It is a very nice place with very helpful staff! - The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean.I would definitely stay there again!

  Location: for seeing Saltzburg and the surrounding area it is near perfect, granting easy access (via public transport) to the city whilst allowing private motoring with ease. Comfort: we opted for a room with balcony and, despite the road noise, were pleased we did as this gave us that little more space and the chance to sit outside. Break - I absolutely enjoyed my visit to that hotel. It is quite small, very clean, and it really feels like home. Hotel staff is very attentive and ready to help and give some advice about places to visit, getting there, most interesting tours, etc. The hotel is located within walking distance from Hellbrun palace and the Zoo (of course, you can go there by bus as well). The hotel is very quiet, although a major highway is only about 200 meters away
