Staff were very friendly, was a bit worried as had read a lot of negative feedback. Would recommend the place to anyone. The only criticism that I wouold have is that there is no frypan in the kitchens which meant you had to go out for breakfast each day - only one saucepan but thats a minor thing that can be easily fixed. Very close to the train station and not very noisy at all - loved the tiled floors as was lovely to come back to after a full on day to take shoes off to a cool tiled floor! Staff were very helpful on the number of queries that we had, and loved that it was so close to the shopping centre.
all reviews » Was amazing value for money, really was more than expected. Nice neat with everything close by! Station,buses and shops all in walking distance, even a cute pub down the street. Plus the convenience store downstairs was really...well convenient!. The staff were very nice. The apartment complex was very close to shopping malls and ease of getting anywhere was good. The room itself and the bathroom were also good except for no water one day which was not the fault of the complex. Location was excellent but on-street parking was hard to find. Vehicle security was excellent though. Walking distance to shops, trains, cafes and parramatta river waterfront dining. Beautiful city views too. Locality to public transport and shopping/eating facilities. Necessary as we had travelled 400klms from our home to Parramatta by rail.Staff provided immediate assistance to one small matter. The apartment was very nice, with great views of the surrounding city. It was really close to the train station so easy to get into the centre of Sydney. Price; Convenience to conference; Availability of security parking; Studio Room was compact but had everything I needed; Facilities - pool, spa, sauna. The Apartment was in a great location for my purpose of travel. It was a great sized room for just the 2 of us and had everything we needed available. We spent two days and the staff were all extremely helpful, unit was very clean and all the rquipment was in dood condition - easy walk to train. My upgrade was impressive my room with a view amazing size of room and balcony was huge I liked how you can only go to alotted floor security. It was a great space with the two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Great to have a balcony and views, hardly any noise from traffic or trains. Could have been a little cleaner - just maintenance like dust on the skirting boards and not really cleaned that well from the last tenant, bench had crumbs etc. Could of been cleaned up better but other than that, Was great. As a serviced apartment, the service was non existent. We stayed there 4 days and the apartment was not serviced during this time. Upon return each day to the apartment all you could smell was asian cooking - quite sickly!. Room had a lot of wear and tear. Needed new carpet and a paint job. But the room was roomy and clean. This is not a dislike, more a maintenance matter- Aircon dripped water back into bedroom onto carpet- solved by placing glass mugs and towels. Matter reported to receptoion staff on leaving for maintenance. The communal areas were a bit tatty i.e. the carpets in the halls, but the apartment didn't reflect this and was spotless, don't let first impressions worry you. Couldnt get sauna working; Spa wasn't very warm. I went o make a coffee and the cups were dirty, had coffee marks from the last person, so that put me off quite a bit. Difficult to find parking to book in - once booked in all OK. No complaints at all. While they were clean, the bathroom looked like it needed more of a scrub; The reverse cycle heaters didnt work even with staff coming to check the system. There was no where to pull up to reception, so after driving around and contacting the apartments it seems we had to know to pull into the garage first. This was not on any documents when we booked and signage was bad. not a lot in the way of cooking utensils, very basic. Bit difficult to cook for a family First room we stayed in did not have remotes for air conditioner/heater. we didn't have anything to put here. TV was a bit small but apart from that it was great.!. Need more window coverings, even though we were on the 25th level the city lights shone in the windows even with blinds down. Kids said the TV needed to be bigger!. The carpets, blinds and walls were very dirty- definitely needs attention. Many disfuntional items in room- stereo was not working, no batteries on remote control, balcony light not working, toilet flush was malfunctioning intermittently. Basic room maintenance check seems to be lacking. Aside from this these malfunctions we really liked the hotel- am sure these issues can be fixed. The elevator was not readily available - being used for cleaners and other non-guest activities - I was late for my appointments. Unit floor not clean, beds on rollers kept moving. rooms bit dirty needed more attention to cleaning beds on rollers so went everywhere rugs would help scuff marks made it look dirty broken window and stiff door on balcony - need more signage for visitors for carpark and pool etc. Not enough parking, and the spaces were very narrow for our car. the very strong smell of curry. the foxtel didnt work. Wasn't as clean as it could have been. Couldn't lock door to balcony, information book not up to date. Overall décor was a little shabby and it was noisy at night time. Location of TV poor. could have done with a little more furniture in the living areas. The room needed a freshen up with paint and new carpet. Power point in bathroom did not have cover so looked rough. Toilet roll holder loose and requires tightening. It was hard to visit other family on other floors. No air con in bathroom. The curtains were not quite good. Parking too tight. Nothing really. not enough blankets on the beds - cold in the mornings. would have liked the T.V. on the wall, and A sofa or two easy chairs in place of the T.V. table. that would really make A terrific unit. Balcony verry dirty. unclean hall way , lifts & pool area,. the room I was getting and still using keys to open door. Lack of cleanliness the dishes were dirty in cupboard the shower glass doors and soap dish had not been cleaned skirting boards in main area dirty and wall beside kitchen area was dirty overall it just needed a good clean.
