Absolutely everything. From the moment we pulled outside of the Hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful. There is not one thing that we could complain about. This is the first time that we have stayed at the Langham (we normally stay at the Grand Hyatt) but this Hotel was even more perfect. Everything about our short stay at The Langham Melbourne was as expected. Staff were extremely helpful and very polite. The cleanliness of the property was good. We booked for one night, but unfortunately I spent 8 hours at St Vincents Hospital. So we had time to unpack and then pack our belongings in the morning.

We walked to the movies at Crown, we walked to the Princess theatre to attend a show, we walked to breakfast down one of the great laneways, everything was so easy. We loved the upgrade to the Grand River Room, the view was awesome especially at night. Very comfortable and clean and the service we received from all staff was excellent. We would certainly like to return when we come to Melbourne again for the weekend. everything the staff is just great,the waiter in the aria bar even remembered us from the week before, and we absulutely luv the spa room which you up graded us to again ...luv the location.cant wait to come back again in may for the footy thankyou. There is nothing I didn't like about The Langham Hotel Melbourne. Room was a little warm and a little noisy when functions in progress. Mix up with being advised we had a 5pm check out - porter knocked on the door to see if we needed assistance with our luggage around 12:30. I believe it was a genuine mistake but caused a little bit of stress from out part in trying to pack and leave quickly. I didn't like to leave. The duvet which had black marks like ink? on one side of it and instead of a duvet cover was sandwiched between two sheets. The toiletries, I found the shampoo not to have much lather at all and the lids were hard to open on some occasions, nail breakers!. there is nothing to dislike i cannot fault the langham in any way thats why we stay there. nothing justwith mebeingsick with my pinched nerve and loss of equilibrium Iwill be back. I liked it all. My favourite Hotel in Melbourne, both for style and service. The breakfast was too expensive to contemplate!!. none. In Hotel restaurant dining is a bit pricey with regard to Buffet, but excellent quality. Breakfast should be available until 11am. I loved everything but some bubble bath would have been great. there is nothng not to like i cannot find any fault in this hotel. Breakfast too expensive in our opinion, but other options very close by of very good standard for under half the price of the Langham. Service and etiquette at the Melba restaurant was poor. They got me the wrong order and the elderly, mature staff need etiquette training ! Poor customer manners, ? a hint of racial overtones,, management need to weed out the rubbish as it will tarnish the hotels otherwise execellent reputation. I travel widely and know what to expect from a 5 star hotel. I can be contactable by The Langham's if they require clarification. Nothing. Coffee could have been hotter. check in. One thing......I think the pool could do with a re-furbishment. N/A. There should be access to free WiFi in each.bedroom. It is very penny pinching for a premier class hotel to charge for WiFi access. For this reason I would not recommend this hotel to others. Room is a bit small. That the day spa was basically booked out. N/a. nothing!. the bed was very uncomfortable - with A hole on either side & A ridge in the middle. I was sleeping in A hole. the mattress needed to be turned & the mat on the top fluffed. I don'T know how often you do this but it seemed as if it hadn'T been done for A very long time. I therefore did not sleep very well at all. Air conditioning was faulty on arrival. Lack of free Wifi. Didn't get chocolates at turn down although our traveling companions did.
