Perfect location to access the city for shopping, entertainment , sightseeing etc. Circle tram is great as it takes you close to nearly any point of the cbd that you need/want to visit. Harbour town for shopping and food, as well as the restaurants. Late check in was easy with the pin number drop box for our keys. Staff were great. The apartment was large , roomy and had a fantastic outlook and position. Close to Harbour Town and DFO shopping . Very close to trams and great eating places. Will definitely stay here again, been staying in melb for many years and this has been the best accomodation !!!.

There wasnt any tea or coffee in our room on arrival this was rectified the next morning when mentioned to staff. Not enough stock of washing liquids and milk, some extra cooking utensils would possibly be needed. Stains on the carpet. Could have been cleaner, toilets dirty, carpets not vacuumed. DVD did not work, ended up only 1 HDMI cable between satellite and dvd player. The management was a bit disorganised and the rooms weren't 100% clean. After check in, had to drive out of adjacent car park, back up Harbour Esplanade until we could find a spot to 'u' turn, then drive back into caravel lane to turn into allocated car park. Parking in caravel lane was mostly 'loading zones' & the 2 available spaces were taken. Had to do 3 big loops around to finally get into the place for the first time, so hard to find. That was our only complaint!. we were not sure where to put our rubbish at then end of our stay. windy area at times. That we couldn't stay longer. Main bedroom was fairly average. No mirrors outside of the bathrooms. Called reception and asked for late checkout, which was granted until 11am then on the day of checkout received a call telling me checkout was at 10am. noise from construction side from early morning and on Saturday. First apartment offered had soaking wet carpet from cleaning.no remote control for garage.only one toilet. That we could,nt get out to the balcony. Apartment needed a good clean-dirty marks on walls and carpet.Floor of shower was really dirty. couldn't get any sleep as the building is not sound proof. Hallways stink. Carpets very grubby, no utencil holder in dishwasher and key to door difficult to lock. Staff on last day of check out not so friendly and left poor impression. Staff not responsive on arrival or checkout. No soap or shampoo etc on arrival. Cleaning shocking. Tv no go after 2nights it was fixed. wind noise from seals in windows.Was advised on booking there would be a wheelchair. No there wasn't. The customer service - could only find 1 set of room keys. The smell in the corridors of the complex smelt like off milk. Had problems using the lift - rang the number given and finally got a call back, but not helpful. No information available in room for taxi, the area or Melbourne in general - very poor. No where to drop key off when checking out - no one available at front desk and left at 9am. Got messed around a bit with after-hours check-in due to error of new staff member, but was resolved within the hour by the manager. Bedding was not configured as I requested. apartment was surprisingly small for a deluxe apartment, crockery was dirty, bathroom tiles were mouldy, ceiling in master bedroom was stained & paint peeling from water leak, no staff at 3pm checkin although office was supposed to be open, phonecall at 10.15 sunday to ask why we hadn't returned key when we'd booked late checkout of 12 noon. One lift broken all long weekend with no sense of urgency to have it fixed. Considering the apartment block is 20 floors with 5 units each fllor - made for some very long wait times and crowded lifts. Foxtell did not work - could not access any movie channels Shower was pathetic and noisy Very expensive for what it was No air conditioning in bedrooms so doors had to be left open and the small unit did not cool the unit (it was hot) Would tell my friends to find a better spot. It was not worth $2000.00. No toilet paper dishes left dirty blanket given stained terrible rollaway bed broken fox tail didn't get work couldn't get hold of staff no help never recommend to anyone.

FROM THE AIRPORT Tullamarine International Airport is located approximately 25 minutes from the city centre. Once in Melbourne, there are many transport options including taxi, train and tram. SHUTTLE BUS Skybus operates 7 days a week, including public holidays. It's a 25 minute average trip between airport and city although timing will depend on the amount of drop offs. Cost is $16 per adult one way and $26 two ways. TAXI Docklands is 19km from Tullamarine Melbourne Airport and should take you around 25minutes to arrive. Cost of a taxi should range from $40-$45. AROUND TOWN BY TRAM Tram 48 (via Flinders Street) and Tram 86 (via Bourke Street) will take you to the New Quay Docklands. The free City Circle tram (from Flinders Street or La Trobe Street) will operate from mid 2009. BY BUS The Melbourne City Shuttle bus operates daily to New Quay. A FREE bus service operates between Waterfront City and Southern Cross Station every 10 - 20 minutes. BY TRAIN Take the train to Southern Cross Station (formally Spencer Street Station) and walk over the Bourke Street Pedestrian Bridge to Harbour Esplanade. Then follow the Promenade along to New Quay. BY CAR Parking is available at: - New Quay, Waterfront Way & Pearl River Road car parks (North and West). There are approx 3500 car parks.
