Excellent accommodation for family of 5 with 3 double beds, full kitchen, TV in each room, good laundry, excellent views of the Bay with walkout balcony. Excellent value for money and easy parking outside unit. Staff was very friendly courteous and ensured our stay was comfortable. We were shown to our room on arrival and given a tour room which was great. We were made aware of renovation at the front of the unit and ensure we weren't disturbed. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will be back.
all reviews » The view and position right on the river. Our room had a window overlooking the river and it was such a beautiful view, and a lift for the luggage carting. The room was very comfortable, with a toaster, microwave,crockery and cutlery for breakfast; a great idea. Bring your own cereal, fruit and a loaf of bread with some butter and you have a healthy breakfast, with the local papers available, one can relax and gaze over the activity on the river while eating breakfast. I can not answer 2nd question properly because when I stay there I am travelling with my mother now in her late 80"s and there is no box which fits. We stay there every year because it is close to airport and I can leave my car cheaper than airport and know it is safe. Over the years the staff have been veery accommodating. We loved the view. We were very pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and the self-catering aspect of the room. Well thought out equipment from a small Fridge to a microwave and everything in between. Tea, coffee, sugar, Toaster, kettle, dishes, utensils, dish washing soap, tea towels etc. were all supplied. I live out of town and would live to have a deal with 429 so I get a discount when ever I stay there.i my stay there day once a month so if there is a spare room I get a discounts. Or every 5 night I get half price. A bit like a frequent usersdiscount. Currently I stay at a variety of different places around hobart. I found the establishment pleasingly high quality for money spent. The facilities were equivalent to that provided in an expensive city hotel. The room was not salubrious, but very well appointed nevertheless with new furniture, excellent bed and coverings, and with a lovely view of the water. The room was large and well laid out. I had a balcony and enjoyed being able to let fresh air in. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It wasn't noisy and it was handy to the places I needed to get to. Also the staff were very pleasant and helpful. met all my needs,including iron and board,and hairdryer,bus outside so easy to town and cheap travel,and an easy drive as well,beautiful outlook over the water with the boats,lovely .good big and comfy beds,strong shower,very comfy all round really!. The view to the river. The room was spacious, with great tv, mini fridge, lounge, dinning table and basics to have breakfast in the room. Feels like a studio apartment. Staff was helpful with setting of air con. The glassed lift was great. Parking. My friend And I went for a girls weekend and this was the best place ever! Both of us will stay there with our respective families next time we go. So close to everything, but just far enough out of the city to avoid the hustle and bustle at night. Sea and esplanade view from small balcony. We loved the fact that we were upgraded to one of the front rooms overlooking the water. It was a great view of the bay and Wrest Point Casino. Also loved the open lift to see the view while going to floors. The fact that it was very close to (Hobart Uni) where we needed to be during the day time and heaps of parking - even when we returned very late at night. Easy to find. A lovely walk along the river too. Great place to stay, just outside of the city, but still close enough to walk if you wish. Good 30-45 mins. Close to casino. Your location is perfect in Sandy Bay surrounded by shops & restaurants. The rooms are well set out and the heater had been put on as I was late arriving. The reception on arrival was excellent and very helpful. ended up staying two nights. The location just out of the city was convenient. I wished that we had the room at the front so we could see even more or the beautiful view. All ol. Minor issues were these ... 1. Reception hours seemed a little too curtailed. 2. Traffic noise was perfectly OK, but double glazed windows would be an improvement. 3. I would have preferred a breakfast room, but not really necessary. 4. A front security gate made have to considered as the moral/social environment of Hobart (as with any other city) progressively collapses due to a failed Australian justice system. The bathroom probably needs a revamp. The shower cubical could be a little difficult to manoeuvre if one was unsteady on one's feet, i.e. older. No enclosed external corridor, you step outside into the wind and cold as soon as you leave the room. Nothing to report by far the best hotel we have stayed at in Hobart area. We found the wardrobe hangers to be a small problem as all our clothes were already on our own hangers which didn't work in the existing robes. I would definitely change that ASAP. It's a bus ride to town or a long walk. But everything else is so terrific that I would stay there again and again!. Nothing much. Bathroom was rather small but very clean. Road could be a little noisy. We did have to drive back into the city instead of being able to walk. But all in all, that was not a big problem. Sound proofing can be better but wasn't really anything out of the ordinary. No issues encountered. Not really a dislike but you can't watch the tv from the comfortable sofa. None. N/A. Close to the road so a little traffic noise though not too bad considering the proximity to the main road. Bathroom basin could have been bigger. The cold wind!. Small bathroom. Room 204 Iron was leeking. Had the end room with the view which was nice, but rather noisy in the morning, as the traffic started early with commuters going to work. The bathroom needed updating and the bathroom door was difficult to close. Found the sink a bit small in the bathroom and could have a couple more shelves to place toiletries. As a pensioner couple we found it to be expensive particularly after speaking to others within the complex who recieved a much cheaper rate unfortunately this was all too late to negotiate I would advise anyone intending to stay to look at the rates. Shower, bathroom facilities were very old. Laundry was a let down Room is small compared to the pictures. far from shopping complex. The bed was a little too firm. Nothing. All was excellent.
