all reviews » The poolside area and Moet and Chandon Ice Imperial fruit cocktail was amazing. The suite was spectacual and the decor and furnishing of the hotel was exquisite. Our stay was unreal . Amazing rooms , friendly staff and perfect location . We had a great stay, definitely stay there again soon. We love the Versace, it was our 5th stay there and we will definitely be going back. I guess the lack of Internet as specified is substituted with free breakfast. Versace hotel is a wonderful place to relax. Love every minute I was there. The room was clean, bathroom beautiful, bed and pillows very comfortable. everything.this is our 8th. stay at versace.we love it there. The whole experience was absolutely amazing could not fault. The only thing we didn't like was the noise from the lagoon as our room overlooked it. It was VERY noisy, too noisy to have an afternoon nap. Again at night VERY noisy but it did get turned off at night when we asked if it could be turned off. That was the only negative but for us it was a big one. Obviously the price can be expensive but it's certainly value for money for the luxury you get. Didn't get to meet Ant and Dec whilst there :(. Internet isn't free! The details are misleading! Not the best experience or rather the Versace experience is overrated. Gold Coast CBD streets is not very impressive, I feel a bit old and rundown. the view of our room, overlooking the shopping centre rooftop and airconditioning units, wasnt the best view for the cost of accomodation, cost of bond for room excessive. nothing. Not enough time to spend there!Wish we stayed longer!. we had to go home. Being told when ordering lunch at poolside that it would take 45 minutes because the chef was busy!. At the top of the price range. Breakfast, rooms no different to other hotels. Didnt think much of the buffet breakfast. Way over priced for the type and quality if food. There is nothing I would say "like" about. Too much for such room and service, especially the service. The food are bad here. Worst holliday experience ever. And no wifi in the hotel. Far from airport. Very poor service!. Room was not 100% clean, Numerous complaints were made to staff about the noise from room above us, was told that they are long term and not much can be done, noise was so bad we left our room and went out. waiter got drinks order wrong and when he brought out correct one he still charged us. Very average breakfast selection. Wait staff not very friendly. Bar staff rude and closed the bar early even when 15 people still in the bar. No entertainment at all and pool area lacks luxury feel. Rooms are ok but lacking in included items. Received more from other hotels. No turn down after first night. Overall lacks the "Versace" luxury that you would expect comes with the name. Swimming pool & facilities; Staff attitude & professionalism; Very restrictive with facilities, to sit & relax by poolside you would have to pay! No heated pool; Lack of variety with food; Lack of entertainment; No free valet parking for guests; Not value for money! We have been guests here few times but this time we did not have the versace experience. Highly disappointed!. Poor service inside and outside n o towels outside at pool area bar shuts early n a sat night.... Lack of variety.
