Managers Ben and Jodie are great people. They made us feel welcome and assisted us with tickets to the local theme parks. First of all - its not the Hilton so don't expect marble floors, full time concierge and elevator music. However you can expect large spacious, clean apartments with amazing views of the Beach to greet us each morning (we stayed 8 days on the 12th floor). We chose a 2 bedroom for ourselves and two daughters (10 & 7). the facilities were fine...good kitchen with all the .
all reviews » We were on the 14th floor as I had requested a great view and was stunned by how good it was. We could see right out over the ocean and to the left a view of the boating channel. The apartment was lovely and we felt like millionaires. It was so nice it was hard to go out! Ben was great to us and showed us where to get a nice meal when we had arrived tired. We fed the fish from the boat docks accessed at the back of the swimming pool. Location is excellent being immediately across the road from. Everything about this apartment block - the facilities are dated but this was to be expected and the rates were realistic to reflect this. The view from the apt. was to die for - didn't want to leave the apt.!! The hosts - well what can one say? They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and nothing was too much trouble - We really were made to feel valued from the time we arrived until we left. (something that doesn't happen often these days). Thanks guys. The building is in an excellent location with an easy walk to Cavill mall and main beach just across the road. The apartment was well appointed with a fabulous view of the ocean and a number of little treats (tea, coffee, washing powder, dishwasher powder). There would be killer views of the grand prix from this building. The managers were both very friendly and helpful. The managers were extremely friendly and accommodating. Always helpful with all local questions for dining and entertainment. The apartments were fantastically located across the road from a patrolled beach, with easy walking distance to surfers and also Main beach shops. The apartment was perfect, stunning outlook and family friendly. I LOVED IT! ! Everything from checking in to checking out was perfect. Best managers I have ever met they were LOVEly :) 5* views with a gorgeous interior makes you feel like home away from home feeling. Keep in mind they are over 30 years old ok! Anyone who gives these a bad review cannot be human. The owners were very friendly, welcoming and obliging. The view from our apartment was absolutely magnificent. The room itself was very clean. The beach is just across the road and not crowded. The nearby park is also nice to spend time relaxing. That I didnt stay longer. Having to pack up and come home.. More than a kilometer away from Surfers Paradise. The convenient store and public bus stop are quite a distance away(abt 400m) for an elderly to walk. No wifi in room. Only having wifi access in the lobby. There was nothing to not like. nothing, everything was more than expected. We only stay there for 5 nights. We should stay longer!! For sure we will be coming back in the future. Our holiday came to an end and we had to go home. The wifi is only available at the lobby and not in the apartments. That's about it. Perhaps the age of the interior of some of the rooms and some of the appliances the windows were also hard to slide open. The amount of road works & blocked streets due to car race & light rail. W.c. Little outdated , but nothing to discredit them. Not catching any of the bream in the canal. Cleanness of the master bathroom needed more attention. Otherwise good. No wifi in the room but reception area had perfectly good internet so wasn't a big negative. I didn't like having to check out and go home! :). parking is a bit awkward but once getting used to then it is okay; older style of kitchen/laundry facilities; we had oven not working and also one bedroom door handle broken during our stay. no bathroom exhaust. however still recommendable for the value. A little more attention to detail in cleaning a little bit dusty however overall very clean. nothing. Nothing. If possible to consider having wireless connection in apartments. Would have liked the pool a bit warmer so i could get in with the children, (who wouldn't care if it was minus 3 degrees). Nothing. There is a sewege smell coming out of the ensuite. Not much. Nothing.
