Excellent room with kitchen and a balcony overlooking the sea! We were on the 13th floor so had amazing views of the coast! Very clean and comfortable and a great price for the room / location! A 15 / 20 minute walk to surfers paradise where all the bars / restaurants / amusement arcades / shops are, and the same in the other direction to pacific fair shopping center... If it's too warm to walk there is a bus stop outside the hotel door to surfers, or a 5 minute walk to bus stop to pacific fair.
all reviews » All of it, the views, the rooms were spacious and inviting. The area it is in is fabulously close to everything, We literally parked for the whole week. I feel mean only marking the staff GOOD but I literally did not need them or see them other than entering and leaving the resort. They were friendly without being intrusive. Just lovely. The simple warmth from the staff that worked there, from check-in right up to checkout. I was so impressed with my last visit we brought a girlfriend and her son with us this time, and I dare say they will be coming back too. Thank u ipanema. Location facilities excellent value for money staff 100% accross the board and very clean. You have everything at your finger tips and bus just outside shops everywhere. this place I would recommend to everyone its just excellent. The apartment has everything you need, from dishwasher to oven, fridge, iron, tv, dvd, pots, sofa, table with chairs... 2 big balconies... the parking is included. Water pressure very good in the shower. Bath tub present. The whole place was very clean, neat, tidy and very well kept...also very secure...the staff were extremely polite and helpful and any requests were dealt with promptly...would not hesitate staying there again... Staff went out of there way to look after our booking and all of our extended family during our stay here. Excellent rooms for the price, very large and practical. Location is very good. Love the fact it had been years since our last holiday, and to find this place for the price that it is, the warmth of the place and the friendliness of the staff. We will be back. Nothing at all!. The staff is almost non existent, the only times I spoke with them was at the phone and 1 live for the payment, although you don't really need them. However the intercom is available. No free wifi. Not enough plates. Carpet needs to be replaced. The shower devise was not firm enough, so it kept falling down. One towel was not that clean. We stay there 3 days but we didn't see any staff member, even we have pickup our key from the locker box. Could of had better and cleaner carpets. Not so close to buses but wasn't to far of a walk. The bed was very uncomfortable and the sauna was not warm enough. be handy if there was metal untensils for the BBQ. Nothing it was great. It was a bit further from Cavil Mall than I first realised but I would defiantly stay again. only thing really was the carpet looked like someone had tried to clean it and marked it instead and the instructions for changing the tv to and from cable should have been included in the compendium. Bed was uncomfortable didn't sleep well. Stains on carpet. Bit of a walk into centre but was fine if the weather had if been nice during our stay this would not have been an issue however. the bed was hard and I had a spring digging in my ribs all night. The air can become quite bad when we cook in the studio, but I guess I can't really complain given the price. After hours book in was a nightmare. Door was open but when I went inside I couldnt find info at closed reception on how to check in. Had to go find Manager's room behind a sheet for him to tell me I had to use intercom outside. Was left standing outside for 10 mins after being told I wasnt expected for another two days (which was incorrect). Then told someone would come and see me. No-one came so I got back on the intercom to finally be told finally how to get my key. Wasn't happy. Internet is poor. No tissues and only a bit of toilet paper. Narrow single beds in our Unit, should be upgraded to King Singles. Two Single Beds :( No Phone in the room No Soap holder in the shower No free WiFi The shower pressure was high but the drain could not take the high flow so resulted in flooded so had to take mini showers to let the water drain. apartment was very well worn. Beds were very poor and carpets were heavily stained. Nil remote for television. The facilities. No telephone in my room. No reception available to seek help/advise no proper information passed to me that I should be aware of - which are exceptions for tourists stay. The beds were terrible. I had to see a physio after 3 nights there. It was really unfortunate as I loved everything else. The beds were the only thing that would stop me going back or recommending the Ipanema to others. very noisy street, dirty stained carpets, old and dirty shower, dirty balcony.
