Great layout.Perfect 4 family stop. Beach nice and close.Surf Club nice and close. Was nice not 2 be couped up in a few story motel.Was nice 2 walk out of residence, and sit directly outside my door. The hosts were brilliant and friendly.Thoroughly enjoyed our stay:-). Lovely friendly owners, and we learnt a lot of interesting things from them. Very obliging and glad we were able to provide some interesting stories to them also. Had a lot in common.
all reviews » I couldnt believe how easy it was. The pictures on the web were exact. There were no unpleasent surprises. Staff were extremly friendly & willing to assist. Had a great stay. Only stayed for one night so was looking for something cheap, this motel is great value for money if you don't mind staying somewhere that is minimal and dated. The friendly welcome when we checked-in late. Great location, 200m to the beach. The Motel was extremely clean, loved the presentation with the bath towels. I loved the service i received from Billy when i arrived.He went above and beyond and advised if we need anything just come and ask. The location was great, very clean and tidy and slept like a baby. Excellent place and will stay there again. The staff were fantastic, really nice and friendly and welcoming. I can't say enough good things about them!. Close to beach and close to the Cavial ave, the staff were very helpful and friendly :). the swan shaped towels. a toaster as well as a jug, our car just outside our unit,. Very sorry there wasn't anything to complain or fill this section is as it was a great place. nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. No laundry facilities. noisy revellers outside. On the down side, motels need to offer more tea/coffee/milk. Look at decaf products and if staying overnight, enough milk for coffee in the evening and morning x visitors. Likewise you are offered a tea towel, but nothing to wipe the bench or wash a cup. - The Shower was hard to adjust to the right tempreture. It was either scalding hot or freezing cold. - The television was not a flat screen, at least 15 years old, bulky and outdated . It was also difficult to tune into AUSTAR and nothing of interest was available to watch. Room smelt a bit stale. Needs some maintenance ( some TLC). Cleanliness need to be further improved. The design & furniture are old and outdated. The outside of the building was run down. All of the features and furniture were old and worn, but none in disrepair. The room was not cleaned or serviced the next day. It was 3km from Convention centre and was a bit isolated. I will not stay there next time. Dated accommodation Ants everywhere in room Noisy AC. TV intermittent no sound Exhaust fan faulty Shower taps need new washers Faulty window catch Two florescent lights faulty Couch very lumpy/uncomfortable. Dirty, very far to city, expensive then city luxury hotel even if it is very far from city.
