The managers, Conan and Kim were very friendly. Conan carried our luggage up the one flight of stairs for us. The room that we had, although not large, had everything that we needed including a two burner stove top, a microwave and a small oven/grill. The bowls club is about 100 metres away and is a great place to eat. Park Beach Plaza is only about 1km away and has a wide variety of shops. The beach is across the road. Great value for money.
all reviews » - The rooms are very clean and comfy, and there is all you need in the kitchen, toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge and much more. - Just cross the street and the beach is all yours. - A special thank to the owners of the motel who were absolutely lovely, helping me with my luggage, dropping me off at the shopping center, calling a taxi for me, and who were always smiling. Thanks for all Go there with eyes closed. The hosts Kim and Conan are the nicest people. Very helpful and lovely to talk to. Added much value to my stay. I arrived late. But Conan opened the door specially for me. Location: although quite a walk from CBD. It's right on the beach!! With shops and restaurants close by. Room is clean, large with everything you need. Same for shower. No noise. Pool available. Perfect for relaxing. Accommodation had a separate bedroom which was nice however its size with the bed made it limited to walk around and dress. A none smoking establishment but there was smoking allowed on the communal balcony that you had to walk through or sit out in. Even with these comments a lovely place to stay, a hop across the road to the beach and another hop to a local club for meals. We needed to get in the room earlier than the normal check in time. I rung Kim and explained our situation to her, she was very friendly and accommodating to our wishes. The room its self was of fair size for a motel room, clean room, comfortable bed and most importantly Kim welcomed us with a smile. Yes we will stay in this motel again when in Coffs. The Bosun's Inn was well laid out, quiet, good bed, shower etc. The motel has a barbecue, pool walking distance from beach and the local bowls club - good food. Nothing all great!. Wand on blind fell off when I tried to turn it and the pelment fell off as I tried to fix it. Then I gave up. Nothing. The small car park was difficult to manoeuvre in and out of with a larger car. Nothing. The only minor thing was the tightness of the parking arrangements, but this didn't detract from a very enjoyable stay. A separate (or larger) sink would would be helpful for washing dishes. probably the dated interior. Coffs Harbour. Double bed in room needs a new mattress. Street is a little noisy. Great for short stopover, maybe a bit cramped if weather not kind. Nothing.
