Rooms are of a good size, clean and tidy.The Motel has a bar-b-q area which was well furnished and useable. Parking freely available as was the use of WiFi. The owner, Graham, was very welcoming and helpful as was his wife. The Motel is away from the hussle and bussle of Byron Bay centre and that is a good thing, without being too far out of he centre. A good place to base yourselves if you want to explore Byron at a not too expensive price. The gardens are beautiful.
all reviews » I brought my partner here for a weekend away and the greeting on arrival was lovely they even did a special gift with tim tams and wine which was beautiful and thoughtful and we really appriciated it a lot :-) Staff were really helpfull with any questions we had mainly in regard where to get food which was very handy. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The cabin was great for us as a young family there was a door between the living space and the bedroom. Cabin was very clean and neat presentation. Quiet location 15min walk into byron main street. Great value. Will recommend to family and friends. We have travelled the Nth Coast of NSW for the past 10 days staying in a variety of accommodation. This was by far the best. Our cabin was extremely roomy, clean & great value for money. Highly Recommended. The owners were very friendly and kind hearted. I would stay here again as great motel and with the wonderful greetings we received made our stay start of with smiles. I would rate the two owners 10/10. the friendly staff excellent room swimming pool ambience of the complex suitable for quiet relaxation. far enough away from the hub of byron & yet still convient to all attractions. We liked the cottage we had. Private comfortable and easy to live in. ?We liked all the staff, and had a laff with the manager. Very Happy will use again. I liked the fact that the towels were changed every day and how quiet our room was in spite of the fact that the motel is on a very busy road. Swimming pool garden area was surrounded with many Sultan's palms giving it a tropical feel and the facilities within the room were just right. The accomodation was excellent foe the money. Facillities good, and being situated just outside Byron Bay was ideal for a relaxing time. The friendly staff are great Location is good as it is far enough out of Byron to keep away from all of the noise. No dislikes but did forget to say that there was a leek in the shower head and it squirts the roof just so you know would hate for you guys to get water damage. (Cottage 6). The only thing I didn't like was the bed.Too hard and the pillows very solid. Quite far from the town if you didn't have transport. Not applicable. The cooker in the cabin was a little old. no lighting instrument was provided so if you didnt smoke you wouldnt have a lighter or matches with you. No power the first day ; sorry not your fault ; the wather was bad. Nothing. Nothing, it was perfect. Needs updating decor. The rooms were much smaller than what they appeared on the net. Nothing. Nothing. Beds are past their best by date. No Dislikes. Bit far out of town that advertised. Neighbours outside ofresort Very noisy in early hours. Just one thing: we didn't get why changing of the booking dates was a problem, we didn't even try to get the refund on cancellation of the booking, but were simply asking to change the dates of the stay to come there later in better weather conditions. So we traveled there in that non-stop raining, stayed in the room for a day and night, and left earlier than was planned as it still was raining cats and dogs. Worst $400 Aus Day holiday we ever had. Aged condition of unit, overflowing gutters, dirty ceiling fan, bath window was jambed. soiled curtains, non functioning stove although told we had a fully equipped kitchen, no pots or pans, old fridge leaning to one side, no light in fridge, no hand towell on second day. Place could have been cleaner, bedrooms small.
