I'm not sure why this place has received quite a few bad reviews, when I have nothing to complain about. The staff were lovely and very attentive, and helped us out with using the washing machine and fixing a window. The room had very good air con and foxtel, and a pretty decent kitchen. It was a great stay and we definitely got more than what we paid for. Please stop being fussy and complaining about small minute things. This is the best you will get considering the price, and in saying that i.
all reviews » 2 bedroom apartment had great living space and balcony. Staff most helpful during booking process and also on phone over weekend when office closed. Alliance Hotel right across the road served fabulous meals, friendly staff and lovely refurbished old pub. Also the little pizza joint was great too,cheap. 7/11 also next to that as well. Good vehicle parking access and great for getting from city around town and to airport. would definitely stay there again if apartment stay required. We had a fabulous stay, the male staff person that booked us in and then checked us out was really friendly and gave us a great first impression of the apartments. The rooms were large and modern and the apartments are in a fantastic location - close to the city and roma st parklands. We will definitely be making this our regular accommodation spot when staying in Brisbane. Friendly & extremely helpful staff, facilities very good and comfortable. Nice to sit out on the balcony at breakfast and evening. Near to restaurants including take-away. Pub across the road was a bit noisy but did not really affect us. Food there was excellent. 20 minute stroll into centre of Brisbane, slightly less to waterfront. A great place to stay. Spacious Room. Very Clean and tidy. Kitchen well equipped for making simple meals. Gym small but useful. Pool area amazing! Location was great! Asian supermarket, cafes, pizza shop, 7-11 across the road, and a full supermarket and the CBD (shops, train station) a close 5-10 minute walk away. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Loved the affordability for such a clean and modern apartment with all the neccesary facilities . Almost like a home away from home. Very convenient location. Such a pleasant place to stay at such affordable rates . I would definitely be returning in future and recommending to friends and family . The lady and gentleman who checked me in were both great, very friendly and helpful. Also had pay tv which was good. Was very happy with the stay. Check in was easy even though I was outside of office hours. The place was very clean. The "gym" is a bit dodgy! I would certainly stay there again at the rate I paid. We found that all staff and current resident people were very friendly and helpful. The appartment was located close to our specialist doctor and hospital and not forgetting the cbd. The facilities were great, Everything was clean and modern, it was in a very good location, I felt secure in the apartments, the price was great! I will come back in future visits. Gym only accessible 7am - 9pm which was a touch annoying when I was working late and missed it. My only gripe is the bathroom needs a fan exhaust coz the steam and heat in their whilst having a shower is uncomfortable. And there is not enough hotel guest parking spots available , we had to park out in the visitors bay coz only reserved bays were empty . The facilities were good but the opening times could be extended and an expansion would do a world of good as not many people could use the facilities at any given time. Extra standards could help also, eg. tissues in the rooms, a vaccum and access to extra towels etc. Air conditioning was noisy. Luckily I didn't need to use it while I was there as the weather was kind. Oven didn't work in the kitchen and the shower hose was split. Other than that it was a nice stay and would return here no worries. There's not much to tell here. The only thing I didn't like about my stay was that there were no staff on checkout, or a front desk. However I respect this is probably a way to keep costs down, and it will not affect my decision when I come back to brisbane and chose Tribeca again. Nothing. There were 4 remotes for only 2 appliances - not sure where the DVD and radio had gone?. The compendium needs to be updated with regards to the tv & Foxtel and what channels are available on Foxtel. The sliding window and the sliding door in the bedroom (1 bedroom apartment) need to be maintained - weren't able to open either (not able to use the latch on the door and couldn't move the window - very stuffy of a night. Found some of the other guests at the party received better $ value for their stay at the Tribeca. Shower head in main bathroom was not working very well Light in second bedroom wasn't working. The bed felt like the springs are poking through and was incredibly uncomfortable. I need to stress this is an apartment building not a "hotel" no reception for the majority of Saturday and the whole Sunday. We were checking out on Sunday and wanted an extra hour to check out however as there was no reception we couldn't organise one and at 1001am there was a knock on our door asking for the keys back... There was nothing not too like.. decor and equipment beginning to get a little tired. cleaning of the room is extra!!. The hassle of getting into the apartment after hours, the fact that the apartment door needed to be locked with the key when leaving the room; the stale food smell in the corriodors to the apartment. Not enough coffee and tea satchets. None. No complaints here. Table and chairs on balcony. Level one outside the elevator and our apartment had a distinctive stagnant air/wet smell which at times was overpowering. Leaking air con. Nothing!. There was a pair of underwear underneath our bed. Looked like it had been there for a while as it had dust build up on it. Pretty disgusting!!. A bit run down, cracked power point over basin, cracked toilet cistern, the dining chairs a bit old and some wobbly, drying rack needs replacement, etc. I had to open windows to let air in, couldnt use air con, too noisy, didnt get any sleep first night, so didnt use it again.. Opening windows wouldnt be so bad if there were screens on them.. So many small things need attention; battery in clock, replacement of chipped crockery.Toaster not working. One tea towel for five days,how would a family manage?No broom or dust buster. Tissues for bathroom.No hand towels- Just the little things that make life so much easier. The dishwasher was not working. No fan or air con in bedrooms. Beds uncomfortable. After hours staff had little knowledge of building and location. no air-cond or fan in room, have to depend on air-cond in the hall.
