The staff were lovely, they had a great range of DVDs for free. The unit had everything you could possibly need and was very clean and comfortable. Tv had great cable channels. Right opposite a big shopping centre with Coles, reject shop, restaurants and fish and chips :o) loved it!. We are very satisfied with 1) Very cozy and home-feeling, can cook food by self 2) Excellent environment 3) BBQ and swimming pool 4) Very friendly service and interesting "neighbours" (other tourist living in paradise hotel) 5) Has bible in the room.

It is also near the supermarkt and the shopping center, quite good. The location was quiet, unlike other places we have stayed in Airlie. The room was well laid out and the bed was very comfortable. The cooking facilities and crockery/cutlery were just what we needed. Facilities and quiet location within easy distance of all local amenities. Owners were most helpful and considerate, in allowing us to check out at 5.00pm as it was a rainy day. Very welcoming & helpful staff. Room nice, clean & comfy. Good self catering room. Close to shops, just walk over road. Parking space for each room. Friendly receptionist, very clean, receptionist lent me a big pan so I could make a curry. Little things like this are always appreciated. Enjoyed our stay. Great value for the money, loved the little kitchen , made it possible for us to cook pancakes for breaky!. Rooms were big! kitchen was great, bed was comfy and 2 minute walk to supermarket!. Friendly,helpful staff, Good facilities, Cleanliness, Parking. Friendly and helpful staff; comfortable apartment; great pool. Kitchen was well equiped to do some basic cooking. This is an old fashioned motel and it's all about the location. It's a short drive or a stroll along the seafront to Airlie Beach. We were able to book our excursion to the Barrier Reef at reception and as a result got free wifi for the duration of our stay. There are shops bars and restaurants just a few minutes walk away so no need to drive. It's ideal for a couple of nights but I wouldn't want to stay any longer. Location was good and lady on the desk was pleasent. Was handy to shops over the road and general access to area. Close to Shops. Nice Decor. Comfortable units. nice room. quiet. we chose this motel for 1 night as it was an easy walk to coles supermarket to get provisions to take to A charter yacht next day. Nothing!. I thought the tea/coffee/milk provided was inadequate even though it is a self catering facility. Now we know, we will take plenty with us next time. The rain. Can't think of anything. Expensive WiFi. location was a bus trip away from main strip, wifi facility was awful! reception closes earlier than would expect!. Nothing!. WiFi not working for a laptop Windows7, and no solution from staff. We had to use mobile to go on internet. Room 8 is quite small and cramped and there was an inpleasant smell in the bathroom. Could not get hold of anybody to ask some questions in the week prior. I emailed and called many times with not response. Also when I arrived there was a third person staying so went to pay the extra 20 dollars per night which the website stated as the charge only to be bluntly told that the site is wrong and the charge is 25 per night! Not about the cost but how it was delivered( mind you it was self contained so how you justify that cost per night is beyond me). Cancellation policy. online advertised as 300m from lagoon. Wrong!. kitchen equipment poor glad we were not staying for any longer as self catering would not be easy with 2 hot plates,no oven and very little utensils.
