Front desk service personnel very accommodating and attentive to providing solutions even to inquiries not directly related to stay, e.g. where in Adelaide to order for a bespoke customised plaque. Top marks given to Melissa Yeo, the front desk manager in her attentiveness and guest first service. Excellent in-house fine dining restaurant at ground floor. Stay there for meals and one can skip the ones at more picturesque Windy Points.

Rundle Mall within easy walking distance and many restaurants close by - Do recommend the Sebel Restaurant though - could not fault it. excellent facilities, well maintained- we enjoy swimming, spa, etc. Also food and drinks fabulous. The layout of the room and that the light switch to the bathroom was IN the bathroom so as not to affect your partner in the middle of the night and no mirror opposite the bathroom door to reflect light to the bed. Good value for money. loved the spa and facilities bed was absolutely beautiful had to deal with staff after our stay in regards to my bond not being released, lady went above and beyond to try and help me out was always greeted at the entry. The Sebel Playford has a boutique old world charm that was quite welcoming and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend the SPH to others.. Loved the upgrade to a suite and the wonderful buffet breakfast. Spa,sauna and pool excellent. All the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Design of the whole place was excellent also. Superb location. Gather it was an oversight, staff apologetic when I advised the next day. Only one suitcase stand. There is nothing that I can fault. Nothing. There werent alot of photos available online in reagrds to what the rooms were like, especially ours. we didnt really have a very good view and we were informed we were going to be given lesser until our arrival. we would have paid more for a better view if we knew what we were going to be given. Just had a problem with the key to our room but it got sorted quickly. Nothing, would stay here again and again. The airconditioning was a little finicky, and lack of air flow, such as a ceiling fan would have been really appreciated. Pay for wifi ( in November went to South America & only once did I have to pay for wifi out of 11 hotels).Price of full breakfast when booking you only get one. The reception area in the main foyer is rather dingy, and the bar/coffee shop/restaurant was very noisy in the evening. shower over bath was difficult to get in and out of . Due to my 59 yrs of age. The bath was too narrow to have a bath in unless you were a size 8-10 - disappointing. Nothing obvious. Would have liked to have in-room coffee available for free (almost all other hotels do this). No complaints. News paper not delivered as requested. The walls must have been quite thin as the party going on next door was completely audible. For the price I wasn't expecting the water at the bedside to be an extra. Similarly parking in their own parking lot was not included in the luxury spa suite, though really it wasn't mentioned specifically as an inclusion so I should chalk that down to experience. Nothing - all good. Everything was excellent. the food and drinks were expensive but fairly standard for this type of hotel. Breakfast should be included in the room rate. The revolving door. that there was no information the the main street front door advising that entry was on the side road. this seemed to have caused confusion to all that were arriving to book in with there luggage.... Wasn't a rapt for the plunge coffee would've preferred a good instant one instead. I didn't like the back of the bathroom door peeling off made the hotel look tacky but staff made up for all of that. The best staff I think I have had at a Hotel so far!. I didn't like haveing to leave on Sunday morning and go back to reality. Nothing. didn't like that all the buttons on remote control didn't work eg: sleep button.
