The hotel offers good quality "Western standard" accomodation, is very clean and you can park just in front of the hotel. The location is very good near to the Republic square. As we were there in July and the weather was pretty hot we really enjoyed the pool (given its size it is a true swimming pool!). The staff is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable with a good command of English. Rich buffet breakfast.
all reviews » Pool is great, probably the best place to stay in Yerevan, Out of the big 3, congress, marriot and golden tulip, this would be the pick for a young traveler as the pool makes it. Be sure to get a pool view room, as road side is extremely noisy. Breakfast good but a poor choice. The only thing was that since we were coming from abroad we arrived at 11 am and we couldn’t check in till 2PM, we had to ether stay in the lobby or walk around a city we have never been to before. The wallpaper and carpets should be renovated. unnecessarily mean to charge for use of hotel computer and not to provide tea/coffee facilities in room rather than requiring guest to ask for them. Nonsmoking area in lobby is small and nonsmoking rooms are on the lower noisier floors. Room was small. Breakfast was so so, I expected more for the price. We had to wait until 1:45pm to enter our room. I asked for a non-smoking room overlooking the pool, but was shown a smoking room with a slight view of the pool. smoking on the reception area. Nothing. Air conditioning does not work well, a few television channels, room was very small. Breakfast was not included. It was really cold. The heating didnt work, ok in May nobody expects so cold Yerevan, but it was only unique bad thing of this hotel. This hotel is a little dated and our room smelled of cigarets, which was annoying given that we were travelling with a little child. Hotel policies and conditions. Price.
