Activities for kids; bowling, movies, game rooms. One day on our trip,
we never left the hotel.
Most of the staff was very friendly and accomodating.
I like that we are away from the strip but the neighborhood is a little "shaky"; glad to see more security this time. -
There is a lot to do on property including bowling (it's a huge bowling alley)

Everything you need is inside the hotel, dining, bowling & theater.
Spacious bathroom with roman tub. Great if you want to be away from the
strip and from downtown. Very clean rooms.

everything was great, we called the night before to see if we could check in before 2:00 they said if they had rooms avabile and let up check in at 11:30 am very thankful... -
Good hotel for budget car travelers, in particular if you don't need to stay close to The Strip. Room was OK, spacious enough for 3 people. Breakfast was also OK - nothing

The facility and rooms were great! The location was nice because it was

We were very happy with the price and location for our stay in Vegas. Access to Fremont Street was excellent and within walking distance of all of Fremont Street! -
this casino in the old days prior was classic and now offer services for the classic vacationer. from help in check in to hospitality.

I loved their restaurant .....wonderful pancakes....and shrimp
cocktail ....though our server Monica was unfriendly and provided poor

I loved the location. Valet parking was great and fast. Room were nice but a little small. The bed was not a true queen more like a full size. I am 5"4 and my feet hung off bed. But great for just wanting a place to crash after a night in vegas.

Everything, the hotel exceeded our expectations. The hotel was beautiful and our room accommodations were perfect. The restaurants were perfectly priced and the food was delicious. We will definitely stay at the Golden Nugget in the future. -

We had 2 nights in Vegas and wanted to spend one at the strip and the other at freemont, so staying at the latter, which is more affordable, seemed like a good idea. The room was confortable and spacious. The toiletries were of above-the-average quality. Valet and parking were complimentary for those staying at the hotel, that was very agreeable. - according to some reviews I read, the area is shady, but this is not true - there are homeless people, but its like in any other big city, they ask for money or food (happened only once to me at 4am)
- activities are awesome, hostel organizes trips to see the city and to get to clubs, its perfect, if you do not know, what to do
- Fremont street is much closer than downtown Vegas, and its much better

loved the food options & the swimming pool. I like the option of choosing when I wanted the housekeepers to clean the room. I was torn between giving the housekeeper a 'clean' room to clean or being 'green' and waiting. The staff is very helpful and friendly--greeting me whenever we passed.
