Puerto Escondida B&B is a great place to stay in Valparaiso. It's out of the chaos of the busy port and up in the hills of the mostly lovely little area. Puerta Escondida is a great place to go to. The rooms are nicely decorated with a good and clean bathroom. The living room and where we had breakfast are breathing an extremely positive atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent and prepared by our host Andres who is an extremely nice guy. Whatever we needed or wanted to know, he was of great help! Highly recommendable!

It was so charming, and we loved our room and its balcony that led to the rooftop views. Just a delightful inn with a stunning location overlooking the city and the bay. -
Very friendly staff and beautiful rooms. The view from the roof also a plus. I enjoyed and relaxed at this great hotel in a wonderful port town.

Ulises, the owner, was the most helpful person I have ever met! My boyfriend and I were driving to Camila 109 and we got a flat tire on the way. When we arrived, Ulises helped us with the repair every step of the way.
Flat tires aside, the view was spectacular and the breakfast on the patio was the best way to start a day of exploring Valparaíso

Valparaiso is a must see place and the owner Ulises gave perfect advice to approach it - sights, restaurants, ... We had the best room of this beautiful small house, large enough and great view over the city and bay. Other rooms are much smaller but everybody has great views from the lobby and terrace. Great breakfast. Good WiFi.

Very homely, clean and comfortable hostel. The hostal is located behind the main street at Cerro Alegre - quiet yet accessible to the main area. Lovely hosts, Marcela & Nachos. They are always ready to offer help and advice when needed. Nice and simple breakfast. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay.

My room overlooking the garden was very quiet and comfortable. Easy to get to from bus station. The breakfast is very good so much it's impossible to finish. -

The hotel is located in Cerro Concepcion the most ideal location for tourists as this area has many restaurants cafes, shops and art and craft galleries. Amazing staff, very talkative and genuinely interested in their guests having a comfortable, enjoyable, and safe stay. The owners are a wonderful older couple who visit while they make your breakfast - great fresh coffee :) And Victoria was also very welcoming. Location very good - on Cerro Concepción, so close to great restaurants and sights, but located in an alley off the main street, so a little quieter at night. LOVED my stay - lovely space and design - cant say enough good things about it

Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful location with incredible 360 degree views of Valparaiso from the lounge/dining area on top level. Very accommodating - they organised delicious vegan breakfast for us every morning. Short walk to all the hot-spots, shops, train station. -

This was our most expensive hotel (of 3) in south america, and yet still a "good" deal. We had some well priced hotels in santiago and buenos aires but they didnt have these features( hot buffet breakfast , large rooms and baths). For those who want a good hotel, this would meet your needs. Good features. Location was an easy walk to most places

We loved this hotel from the moment we arrived. An excellent boutique hotel in a brilliant location up above the town with panoramic views of the bay and Vina Del Mar.
The staff are very helpful and the service faultless.
For example on the last day we had to leave early and with out asking ,a small breakfast had been prepared for us and payed out in the breakfast room .

We stayed here for three nights at the end of a six week holiday. It was great to stay at such a lovely clean place with fantastic views. The staff working there were extremely helpful giving us detailed advise on what buses to catch to get to where we needed to go. I would highly recommend.
